For remote workers who spend a lot of time “on the road,” I can wholeheartedly say: Mel’s Happy Home is a gem. From the moment you walk in, you’ll feel that the space was designed for both comfort and productivity.
Why this place stands out for remote workers:
- The dedicated workspace felt thoughtfully set up…plenty of natural light, strong WiFi (no frustrating lag or drop-outs), and a comfortable chair that I could sit in for multiple hours without discomfort.
- The living areas are beautifully styled but still practical: a nice balance of “homey charm” + “professional space.”
- The kitchen and amenities are complete which meant I could cook, sip my coffee, or take a break between meetings without feeling like I was in a generic rental.
- The location (quiet yet accessible) made it easy to “log off” when the work day was done and actually relax..important when you’re juggling big projects and need a mental shift from work-mode to rest-mode. This 1 bedroom unit is located in the heart of Greenfield and Edsa Shangrila area, a wonderful downtown center with hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars, gyms, and churches. It’s about a 40 to 70 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic.
- With a fully automatic washing machine, a Smart TV and a flat iron, this spot is perfect for short or long term stays.
- Building features: two pools, a kid’s playplace, game room, gym, small cafeteria, commercial center, and a coffee shop.
- For stays of at least 6 months, you get access to the Gold’s Gym in the building. It’s big, modern, and has everything you want in a gym.
