| Task | Possible Tools | Person Assigned | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Finding winning video ideas |
Manual - Youtube Automated - Claude code + N8N |
Youtube Channel Manager (YCM) | We use Shane Hummus’s ICAHN method, which is finding video ideas that have a high propensity for max views. The concept: find videos in your niche with a huge views-to-subscriber ratio. |
| Pick from video ideas and assign scriptwriting |
Google Docs Claude |
YCM |
Prioritize the topics that your ideal client would be most interested in learning. For scriptwriting, we saw Claude to be the most effective, but you can use any platform. You can even do it old-school like writing on paper and using bullet points. |
| Approve script | Asana, Trello, Monday, Clickup, Slack, whatever you use for Project Management | YCM | Don’t overthink this part. Make sure all salient points are covered, and the information is solid. |
| Film the video | Camera and mic | Video talent |
Load script onto teleprompter and keep practicing until you feel more and more natural. Tip to be less awkward: imagine that the person you are trying to help is on the other side of the camera. |
| Submit the draft to the editor. | Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve or whatever video editing platform you prefer | Video editor |
Properly prepare and communicate resources to explain to the editor what the theme should be, how animated you want it to be, audience profile, and what outcomes you want. Add prompts for subscribing to your channel, dropping a comment, and sharing the video. If this is a business video (for branding or for lead generation) pepper in testimonials or success stories. |
|
Check first revision and give feedback Repeat until satisfied |
Frame.io Slack/ Any messaging platform |
YCM/ Video talent | Be super clear with your editing notes to not waste time with back and forths. |
| Assign thumbnails (3 options) | Any graphic design/ layout or AI image platform | Graphic Designer/ Can also be the Video Editor/ YCM if using AI image platform. | Thumbnail trends change from year to year, so experiment. |
| Write description, SEO keywords / tags, and prepare 3 options for title A/B testing. | Claude | YCM |
Power this up with research and comparison with other huge channels in your niche. Have a clear CTA at the bottom to book a call, download a guide, or sign up for a newsletter. Find a way to “own” the lead. |
| Publish and schedule | YouTube Studio | YCM | Check out the best times to upload based on your timezone, and schedule it at that time. |
|
OPTIONAL: Generating shortform clips |
Opus clip | YCM/ Video editor | Upload longform onto Opus clip, find iconic moments that can be repurposed into shorts. |
|
OPTIONAL: Repurpose content into a blog or newsletter |
Claude | Content Writer for publishing | To take advantage of the content more, turn it into a resource, a newsletter article, or a blog on your site. Empower with AEO best practices, and assign publishing via a Content Writer. |
