Small Space, Big Productivity

Grand Chapultepec Residential - Mexico City

The studio was small but very thoughtfully designed — it had everything I needed for a comfortable and productive stay. There’s a full kitchen, a cozy living area, two very comfortable double beds (I was staying with my friend Kate Buck Jr. Founder of Social Media Pro), a closet, a safe, and a clean bathroom with hot and cold shower.

I really appreciated the small touches: a small bottle of olive oil, salt and pepper for cooking, a French press with a small bag of coffee, and a lockbox for valuables.

The building itself was well-kept and practical. There’s a small lobby area where you can comfortably work, and a compact gym with all the essentials — a treadmill, elliptical, exercise bike, and free weights. The gym was really tiny, though! Two people would be a “crowd”, just letting you know!

The location is very central, which makes it easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, and attractions. The trade-off is that it can get a bit noisy, but that’s to be expected when staying in the heart of the city.

The only thing that could be improved is the front desk…it was sometimes unattended and responses weren’t always prompt. And our keycard kept losing its effectiveness so we needed to go down and get it recalibrated so we could get into our room.

Small Space, Big Productivity

Final verdict:

Overall, it’s a great value for money and perfect for remote workers or travelers who want to stay in the middle of everything.

Ubers were plenty and fast, and this spot is a mere 15 minute walk from Polanco, a bougie shopping and resto area in the heart of Mexico city.
